Like every other subject, there are advantages and disadvantages to the internet.
A plus point to the internet would be that access to a wealth of information would be at one's finger tips, however, a downer to this would be that the internet makes books redundant. Who would want to read books if one could have access to almost any information with a single click? Over reliance on the internet for research would cause a rising trend in impatience in the younger generations as they expect to get the information within a single click and not flipping through endless pages.
Another advantage to the internet would be that it is easy to widen social circle, keep in contact with old friends, make new ones and meeting different people. However, these means that teenagers have a very high risk of meeting sexual predators and getting groomed by them. Increased contact between teenagers would mean increased friction between one and and other. This would usually lead to broken friendship and cyber bullying.
A disadvantage to unrestricted and unlimited access to the internet would be the audience, including teenagers and children, have very easy access to mature materials, mainly pornographic. This would also mean that teenagers have a high risk of exposure to websites made by bad organisations such as terrorist and cult organisations
Although there are many more advantages and disadvantages of the internet than these, however, these are the main ones present and the ones I have identified.
Will you ever notice me...
